He came out very nicely. I looove blue, so naturally I used it to color this big guy. I'm really happy with the turnout and I hope *Lockjaw loves it too, for I did work very hard and put effort into it to make sure it was top-notch. I hope you like it, *Lockjaw.

Carrying more bark than bite, the Sapphire dragon is generally gentle-natured and easily tamed. This warm-blooded dragonoid is used more to haul royalty or high-class Elves.
The Sapphire lives deep within caves, or behind large waterfalls, where it hoards its collection os shiney or metallic objects. It's unique fascination with anything shiney is used as a lurring tool when being hunted.
It is said that a Sapphire's plating and claws/talons/fangs are worth enough to provide a lifetime supply of food to a single family. But due to the dramatic poaching, the Sapphire's numbers have become more and more limited, and the species now faces exinction. The Elves placed a law against the poaching of this dragon, but most fear it will not be enough to save the species.
