The background really isn't bad. It's a lot better than I can do with water, lol. Anyway, I simply love the design on this beautiful creature. The detail is awesome, and he's just so cute, in a sea-dragon sort of way lol. ( I'm sorry if i'm ruining it, lol... I just like dragon-like creatures...) Anyway, I love the colors too. GReat job!

I think you nailed the underwhater effect, the reflection of light casting down looks great. You probably should have added some air bubbles and such to finish the under water look. Even without it, it looks awesome as usual.

I absolutely love the Lu's design the really long distended body is perfect for an aquatic species, it looks like it is very fast and powerfully built for the watery environment. Awesome job on the patterning it reminds me of a lion fish, one of my favorite salt water fishes. I love the fins, the double dorsal fin is a nice design, great sabilizer ^^ The mall pectoral like fins on the tail are a nice touch too. The long whiskers, horns and dark finy apendages on the back of their head are a nice design touch. There is a wonderful sense of movement in this piece too you can really believe that this is a live creature, like he's going to just swim off the page.

I think the background is wonderful, you really captured the underwater lighting beautifully! Nice sense of weight and fluidity to the water.

I just want to take one home with me ^^

O.o you're right. he does kinda look like a maraquan draik. proly cause both use the colors and patterns of the lionfish ^^. both are also based off of the Lung, the oriental dragons ^^. Have you seen the new darigan hissi? It's cool looking. not posted yet, but I've seen it . if you have aim, i could send it to you if you haven't see it already. it's small, but you get the basic idea.
