Ki, Angel of Death

As you can easily see I just played on the title for Tenmou, since Ki and Tenmou are virtually one in the same. But of course they are opposites!

Enter Ki, the happy-go-lucky, hyperactive, adventure-seeking, ice-weilding,life-pulsing Angel of Death with an Australian accent! Yay for accents!

Unlike his shadowy counterpart, Ki is more of an Angel of Life to be exact. His veins carry life (pure ki) rather than death (black ki) like Tenmou's. He is capable of giving life to death things, but it drains his own, making it nearly impossible for him to do it very often. But his powers prove handy many a times to Shugo and the others.

Ki wields two small sabers shaped like scythe blades, and one scythe, which he never uses. The scythe, as you can see, is a 'powered down' version of Tenmou's deadly scythe. Although Ki doesn't carry a sword very often, he iss well capable of killing foes using his two scythe blades, which he is very talented at wielding. Since they are small and lightweight, they don't hinder his speed like a full scythe or a sword would, giving him freedom of movement and great speed capability.

Happy nearly all the time and nearly never seen without a smile pasted across his face, Ki manages to bring beams of happiness and laughter in even the darkest of situations. His awkward and foggy past is kept secret, however, resulting in most not knowing much about his true intentions.

Having grown up in the heat of Australia, Ki is capable of creating ice that won't melt in heat up to 100 degrees F'. This of course proves very useful in later battles, especially since Ki only exists as 'Ki' during the daytime, when his ice attacks are most vulnerable.

As Shugo's best friend, Ki plays an important role throughout the series, keeping Shugo's temper under watch, helping him guard Beth from Kurai, and protecting Shugo at times, even. His stealth, intelligence, compassion for others and happy nature prove him a very valuable member to the team, and a good friend to anyone who asks of it.
