Well...here 'e is! I am actually pretty happy with his design . Meet Akel, the main 'bad guy' in a new series concept called "Winged Hearts" (possibly) that I'm currently working on in my head. I know, I know... I already have SO MUCH I'm working on... I just can't help it! I have more than 30 series/movie/book concepts! I OOZE imagination! AHHHH! *quickly puts her hand on her ear to keep the ooze from trailing out* I need a hanky! BROOKLYN! GET ME A HANKY! *scurries away quickly*

Well, I doodled this in pencil and colored it in OC1 (for those that care to know these thiings). It took about 5 hours to color, I'd say. I wasn't able to think of a cool background, but I am working on one. If anyone has any ideas, please suggest them!

Description:
Akel [ah’kel] was born into a low-class Nu’rrove Keidral family consisting of two older bothers, and an older sister. His father was a warrior, and his mother remained at home with the children. Akel’s father was not a powerful warrior, in fact, he was a lower class fighter, and his physical strength and spiritual energies were very limited. Akel’s parents were both dog Keidrals, and both were descended from weak blood-lines, so when Akel was born with dragon attributes, it was a surprise. Looking at his heritage and calm, normal life, no one could ever have imagined that the young and innocent-eyed child would become the Black War’s most prominent and most evil force.

Keidrals [kay-drulls] are split in to two main forms: Nu’rrove [noo-rove] and Ku’rrove [koo-rove]. Nu’rrove Keidrals grow like a human/etc, just at a much slower pace, and don’t age past 30 years of appearance (in human years). Ku’rrove Keidrals appear as children for their entire lives, usually looking between 10 and 13 years of age.
Because all Keidrals retain their youth, they are built for long battles, and are well-equipped to fight. They were considered equals among the flesh angels, flesh demons, and humans that populated the planet. The four peoples lived in peace with each other for thousands of years, until the Black War broke out.

Akel grew up in the Black War’s heart years, the years of chaos and mindless bloodshed that slowly desensitized him to death, violence, and fear. He was born approximately in B.W. 12 (the 12th year proceeding the Black War’s beginning battle took place) and was orphaned at the age of ten, which meant he was still just a child, especially for a Keidral.
His father and three siblings were killed in a crossfire when their hidden village was attacked by a band of ruthless flesh angels that had joined the demons’ side. Akel’s mother picked him up and hid behind a pile of rubbish and bodies. There, she was discovered by the pack of evil flesh angels. She begged that they spare her and her son, Akel, but the men slaughtered her. But she managed to protect Akel, giving him time to flee.

A Nu’rrove Keidral’s wings are very fragile from birth, and usually take about a hundred years to grow to the point of flight. A large amount of spiritual energy is required for the wings to grow, so they grow slowly. But Akel underwent a miraculous transformation during the direst moment of need, hate, anger, and fear.

As the demons and dark flesh angels attacked, Akel snapped. He stopped running and fought; his energy skyrocketed, fueled by his hate and fear. In the battle, his wings grew to their max (for his size) and he took flight, but not after killing every flesh angel, flesh demon, and true demon in the area. However, the flesh angel that had killed his mother, and the ones that had killed the rest of his family and friends had all escaped. He swore revenge on all flesh angels and flesh demons but retained no noticeable anger towards humans. In fact, he spared humans when on his killing sprees, especially the women and children. But if any human dared test him, he would give them a chance to escape, and if they continued to defy him, they would be killed—quickly and usually painlessly, much unlike the torturous murders that he usually took part in. Humans were the only people that Akel seemed to have any sensitivity to, and often, they were the only survivors of one of his bloody rampages through the cities where flesh angels and flesh demons were camped. He often spared fellow Keidrals as well, and would often give them time or opportunity to escape, but if they attacked, they would die just like any other.

Akel trained himself in the arts of war and fighting by watching others and incorporating their own moves and techniques into his own, eventually creating his own unique form of fighting style. His physical strength was very high, and his spiritual strength rivaled that of most the Slayers on the battlefield.

The Slayer tribes had just been born not but ten years prior to Akel’s birth, but by this point they had come to dominate the battlefield, slaying every evil force in their wake. Wanting to test his strength when he reached sixteen years of age, Akel challenged a tribe leader in a one-on-one battle. Akel defeated him and gained the reputation he had been seeking as the most powerful being in the war. But Akel was on no one’s side, he simply killed whatever he came across, whether it was innocent or not. If it had breath, he would kill it and move on.

Akel was born a dragon Keidral, meaning he could learn and use most types of elemental attacks, and his natural power was very high. He grew horns while growing on the battlefield, and this only enhanced his spiritual strength. The power he contained was staggering. No one could get close enough to him to deliver a wounding attack. He learned strong defense to guard himself, and his offense was powerful enough to defeat anyone that managed to plow through his defenses. He seemed unstoppable—un-killable.

Over time, people could see the obsession of blood in his yellow eyes. Akel, now considered to be insane, was a great threat to both sides of the war. Putting their differences aside for the common goal of destroying a shared enemy, the flesh angels, flesh demons, and Keidrals came together and hunted him down. Unable to kill him, they brought in seven accomplished White (holy) Slayers, who sealed the demonic force in a cavern, putting him to sleep. But the White Slayers were not solely responsible for the act. A Ku’rrove Keidral named Noush’te [no’sh-tay] leapt in and wrestled Akel to the ground, subduing him long enough to have the monster sealed. But by doing this, Noush’te was also sealed, put to eternal sleep alongside his blood-thirst enemy. They slept in close quarters within the safely of the cavern, blocked off from the rest of the world.

After Akel was sealed away, in approximately B.W. 31, the war continued as usual. And in B.W. 63, the Black War came to an end when the Keidral and flesh angel forces finally killed the leader of the flesh demon uprising, Lord Tu’rik [too-rick]. Soon, peace was restored to the world, and a thousand years passed.

People forgot about the battles, about those that shed their blood. The war became just another topic in students’ history classes, a short chapter summarized in about ten pages, with lists of battles and important figures, without mention of the millions that had died, or of both sides coming together to vanquish Akel, whom was far from dead.

In B.W. 1205, Akel awoke from his slumber when the seals that guarded his chamber were disturbed; Noush’te was also awoken. Confused, tired, and angry, Akel fled to the mountains to rest and to regain his strength and bearings.

The two were now the only known Keidrals living, for the flesh demons and true demons had banned together and slaughtered the majority of the Keidrals during the end of the war in attempt to weaken the angelic forces’ powers.

The two had awoken in a strange, new world, full of technology, human life, and the dying Slayer culture. The flesh demons were again becoming restless, and Akel found a world full of demonic interest, anger, pain, misery, and confusion; amongst all of this, he knew a new uprising could snap at any given moment. This was the perfect world for him to hunt in, and again he was released in the world to kill. Only this time, there were many less annoying Slayers to get in his way. Now he was free to kill as he pleased. …Or was he?
